What to order
Now, let’s dive into the pizzas, and I wish I meant literally (they’re that good). I love spicy slices, so I had to order the Hot Diavola comes with all things spicy and nice-y. I’m talking piquante soppressata, Italian sausage, chili flakes, roasted peppers, kale, ricotta cheese and hot honey sauce. Bellissimo!
The second pizza was Not Your Grandma’s Garden, and it’s a veggie lover’s dream. It was loaded with broccoli, charred zucchini, roasted peppers, cherry tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and kalamata olives. With so many vegetables it’s essentially like eating a salad… right?

After I ate my heart out in fast-fired pizza and nachos, I headed over to the Ottawa REDBLACKS game. There are three locations across Ottawa but with one in the heart of Lansdowne, you can walk on over to the game after fueling up.
The energy in the stadium was electrifying, and the game was such a close battle! The Ottawa REDBLACKS lost by only a few points (we’ll get ’em next time). My favourite part of the night was seeing everyone so happy at being together again.
